Little Boy Laughs
Blake’s been smiling since he was two weeks old, and now he’s laughing at his own jokes.
When he’s old enough to talk, we’ll ask him what’s so funny. Probably something you did.

It’s amazing how much he has changed in the few short weeks he’s been around! Cutie.

He is so cute! Emily and Ben — thanks for sharing these with us. I’m looking forward to meeting the little guy when I get back from Europe.

Hi Anna,
Welcome back (I think you’re here now…), thanks for your comments.
Blake is looking forward to meeting you and learning to speak one of your new languages.
He needs to learn to make those throaty spitting sounds so common in Eastern Europe before he loses his ear for languages.
Come to think of it… I think he’s already making throaty spitting sounds unprompted. Maybe he’s speaking to us in a slavic tongue we aren’t able to recognize… you’ll have to interpret at let us know.
Emily

I’m still in Europe. But I look forward to teaching him some new languages!
I can teach him the words for “please” and “thank you” in a couple of languages — just learned how to say “thank you” in Hungarian today. It sounds a little like “let see.”
And if he ever says “da,” he’s said his first Slavic word!
But he’s really cute. Say zdravo to him for me!
See you in a few weeks.
