Sleeping through the night!
Imagine my surprise when I woke up this morning at 5:45 for the first time all night! It seems our little miracle slept through the night for the first time ever! When I woke up, Blake wasn’t even awake yet, although he was making a racket in his basinet.
I got up to feed him, but when I took him in to nurse, he didn’t even open his eyes. Back in the crib he went and I slept til 7:30 when he woke me up again, smiling and ready for breakfast!
So, his last feeding was at 10:00, that means he went ALL NIGHT - 9 hours!! - Whoo Hoo! I hadn’t gotten a full night’s sleep for 2 months, when he was born.
I am hoping this heralds a new age of sleep for me, but I have heard that other things like teeth may soon interrupt his sleep again. That’s OK, I’ll catch up on my rest while I can!

Congratulations!!! I’m so happy for you both, and Blake is the cutest ever! I have to say, the picture of him in the pirate eye patch is just about the most adorable thing I’ve ever seen!
I will have to meet him (and see you both) the next time I’m in town…congrats and yay for a full night’s sleep!!! Keep up the posts!
